Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children

It definitely was a slow moving book, but the plot really held my attention and I loved the use of the pictures and old photos that the author put between the chapters. It was very creepy, exciting and really intriguing on the begining but it all ended there. Once the mystery around the house was explained – which was too early on my opinion – it became a very boring story, which I didn’t expect at all. I have to admit that there was more interesting parts in the book but  sadly I hardly got through to the end.

Cinder

I went into this book not expecting to like it, but this book completely surprised me! I have read so many versions of that strory but this one was the most original of them all. I was glad that this book followed the traditional plot line and that felt new and exciting to me beacuse of its dark nature. Something interesting is that this book is a sci-fi fairytale imagining what the story of Cinderella would look like in a hundreds of years in the future, with robots and cyborgs. I am really hoping for continuation of this series.

The Last Olympian

That was a great ending of the story. I was mostly satisfied by how things worked out for the characters. It was hard to say goodbye to all of them because I really enjoyed the series. It was full of action and humor, there is no part in the plot that bored or disgusted me and I hope that RR will try to continue the story.
