I was actually hoping that his announcement was to write another book about the Maze Runner but I wasn’t expecting another prequel. This book was definitely the missing piece in this series, but I was left with more questions after reading this then going in. This book lacked the tension and twists the previous books had and it had some boring and weird chapters. I don’t think that this book was nessesary to the series but despite that I enjoyed it anyway.
